About the Opportunity:
This part-time contract position offers an excellent opportunity for a Pharmacist to provide pharmaceutical care and services to patients. Responsibilities include dispensing medications, overseeing sterile processing, and managing the IV room. Candidates ensure safe and effective medication use while collaborating with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $79.33 to $93.76 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and create care plans for medication therapy.
- Provide education on medication use and safety.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
- Monitor and document patient progress through the EMR system.
- Stay informed on pharmacy practices and emerging therapies.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in pharmacy.
- Valid license to practice as a Pharmacist issued by NYSED.
- Minimum one year of Pharmacist experience.
- Experience with pharmacy dispensing systems and sterile processing.
- IV room experience and familiarity with EMR systems preferred.
