About the Opportunity:
Our client, an outpatient facility in Cortlandt Manor, is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist for a 27-week full-time contract assignment starting in May 2026. The Physical Therapist will evaluate, plan, direct, and administer therapeutic treatments designed to restore function and prevent disability following injury or illness. This role offers a structured outpatient environment with established clinical workflows and interdisciplinary collaboration.
The estimated base pay for this position is $65 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments
- Implement and modify therapeutic interventions as appropriate
- Document evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes in Epic
- Educate patients on rehabilitation plans and home exercise programs
- Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure coordinated care
- Maintain compliance with professional standards and facility policies
Job Requirements:
- Active New York State Physical Therapist license (required)
- Outpatient experience required
- Epic EMR experience highly preferred
- CPR certification preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
Job Schedule:
- Monday: 12:30 PM – 8:30 PM
- Tuesday–Thursday: 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM
- Friday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- No weekends
