About the Opportunity
Our client, a purpose-driven law firm focused on supporting individuals affected by environmental exposure, is seeking an experienced Human Resources Lead to provide independent HR support during a temporary leave coverage beginning in mid to late September. Reporting directly to the CEO and CFO, this individual will play a vital role in managing core HR functions and ensuring operational continuity.
The base pay for this position is $25 to $33 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end recruitment efforts, including drafting job listings, sourcing candidates, and conducting interviews
- Assist with day-to-day HR operations, such as updating policies and addressing employee benefit questions
- Plan and execute company-wide initiatives focused on employee wellness and engagement
- Keep internal systems and employee records accurate and up to date
- Support various HR projects and initiatives as assigned
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in HR, ideally within a recruiting firm, legal environment, or financial services
- Confident in making hiring decisions independently
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Highly organized with strong time-management abilities
- Able to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
- Sharp attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with tools such as JazzHR, LinkedIn, and other business platforms
- Demonstrates integrity, accountability, and a high standard of professional conduct
- Team-oriented with exceptional interpersonal and collaboration skills
- Must be available to work onsite four days per week
