About the Opportunity:

The Pediatric Dental Assistant supports the clinical team in delivering outstanding pediatric dental care. This role focuses on creating a positive experience for children and families in a modern, team-oriented environment where patient comfort, safety, and quality care come first. This is a full-time contract position.

The estimated base pay for these positions are $24.75 to $29.25 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.

Job Responsibilities:

Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments for pediatric dental procedures.
Educate children and parents in oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Take and process dental radiographs as directed.
Maintain accurate patient records and schedule appointments.
Assist dentists chairside during dental treatments and ensure patient comfort.
Maintain dental supply inventory and ensure instruments are properly sterilized.
Adhere to infection control protocols, OSHA compliance, and safety standards.
Provide reassurance and comfort to pediatric patients before, during, and after treatment.

Job Requirements:

Completion of an accredited Dental Assistant program.
Possession of a valid X-ray license.
CPR certification.
Coronal Polishing certification.
One (1) year of hands-on experience as a Pediatric Dental Assistant.
Ability to build trust and rapport with children and their families.
Proficiency in routine clinical tasks such as taking x-rays, setting up/breaking down rooms, and passing instruments.
Nitrous Oxide certification preferred.
