About the Opportunity:
The Interventional Radiology Tech provides advanced imaging services and assists in procedures for adult patients aged 18+. This full-time contract position involves working four 10-hour days per week with an on-call requirement. Responsibilities include operating specialized equipment and collaborating with a team of Radiologic Technologists and Registered Nurses. Graduation from an American Medical Association (AMA) approved school of Radiologic Technology is required.
The estimated base pay for these positions is $62.74 to $74.15 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting interventional radiologic assessments and creating care plans.
- Providing technical support during radiologic procedures.
- Collaborating with radiologists and nurses to coordinate patient care.
- Monitoring and documenting patient progress using EPIC electronic medical records and PACS imaging systems.
- Staying informed on best practices using Siemens Artis-Q machines and PURE Software.
Job Requirements:
- New York State license as a Radiologic Technologist.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in interventional radiology; 2 years preferred.
- Familiarity with technology systems including EPIC and Siemens Artis-Q machines.
