About the Opportunity:
The Respiratory Therapist position at Community Memorial Hospital involves providing specialized care to patients with cardiopulmonary disorders. As a respiratory therapist, you consult with physicians to develop and implement treatment plans and administer therapies such as chest physiotherapy and aerosol treatments. You conduct patient interviews and examinations, monitor treatment progress, and ensure accurate documentation in patient charts. This is a full-time contract position that requires working three consecutive 12-hour shifts from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $48.59 to $57.43 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Interviewing and examining patients with cardiopulmonary disorders.
- Consulting with physicians to develop treatment plans.
- Treating patients with methods including chest physiotherapy and aerosol treatments.
- Monitoring and documenting patient progress in charts.
Job Requirements:
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
- Licensed CRT and RRT.
- Graduation from an accredited program and successful completion of a certification exam.
- Proficiency in using office equipment such as computers and fax machines.
- Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate early or late meetings.
