About the Opportunity:
This full-time contract position offers an opportunity for Respiratory Therapists to provide specialized respiratory care to pediatric patients. The role includes administering respiratory therapy treatments, performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and monitoring patient responses to therapy. Therapists collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care and education.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $55.00 to $65.00 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting respiratory assessments and creating individualized care plans.
- Providing a variety of respiratory therapy treatments and patient education.
- Collaborating with physicians and nurses to coordinate effective care.
- Monitoring and documenting patient progress and treatment outcomes.
- Staying informed on current research and best practices in pediatric respiratory care.
Job Requirements:
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification or equivalent.
- Minimum two years of experience in pediatric respiratory care settings.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Experience with advanced respiratory therapy techniques preferred.
