About the Opportunity:
This Registered Respiratory Therapist position involves providing respiratory care to adult patients. This fulfills a full-time contract need within a specified 59-day period. The role includes coverage for FTE leave of absence from 7:30 AM to 8:30 PM.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $55.00 to $65.00 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting respiratory assessments and creating care plans.
- Providing respiratory therapy and patient education.
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
- Monitoring and documenting patient progress using EPIC charting system.
- Staying informed on adult critical care practices.
Job Requirements:
- Associates in Applied Science & Respiratory Therapy (required).
- NYS license in Respiratory Therapy (required).
- BLS certification (required).
- Registered Respiratory Therapist certification from the National Board for Respiratory Care (strongly preferred).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in relevant settings.
- Communication, flexibility, interpersonal, and basic computer skills (required).
