About the Opportunity:
Join a dynamic imaging team as a CT Technologist, providing high-quality computed tomography services to a diverse patient population. This is a full-time contract position located at a renowned academic medical center. Responsibilities include conducting CT scans, ensuring accurate imaging techniques, and maintaining a safe environment for both patients and staff. The role encompasses working with Siemens CT equipment and engaging with patients across all age groups, from neonates to geriatrics.
The estimated base pay for these positions is $57.75 to $68.25 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct CT assessments and create images for diagnostic purposes.
- Administer contrast media and perform necessary precautions.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Monitor equipment functionality and maintain operational standards.
- Stay informed on advancements in radiology and safety protocols.
Job Requirements:
- ARRT (CT) certification, BLS, and active state license.
- IV Certification and minimum 1 year of CT experience.
- Experience with Siemens CT scanner and Omnicell Medication System.
- Preferred experience in adult and pediatric acute care, outpatient services, and trauma.
- Key technical skills include 3D rendering, multiplanar reconstruction, and radiation safety.
