About the Opportunity:
This contract position provides specialized care to pediatric patients in an emergency room setting. The RN collaborates with medical teams to deliver high-quality treatment and care. This is a full-time contract position with variable night shifts.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $51.70 to $61.10 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting patient assessments in the pediatric emergency setting and creating appropriate care plans.
- Providing necessary medical interventions, including advanced life support.
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Monitoring and documenting patient progress.
- Staying informed on developments in pediatric emergency medicine.
Job Requirements:
- CA RN License, AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, AHA PALS certifications.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in emergency and pediatric settings.
- Preferred certifications: CEN/CPEN, ENPC, TNCC; experience in pediatric trauma preferred.
- Skills in charting with Epic and managing various acute conditions.
