About the Opportunity:
This is a full-time contract opportunity for a Registered Nurse specializing in Med Surg Tele. The role involves providing comprehensive care to adult and geriatric patients, conducting assessments, developing care plans, and monitoring patient progress. The position requires the ability to float to other facilities if needed.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $49.50 to $58.50 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and create individualized care plans for patients.
- Provide medical-surgical and telemetry-focused care, including cardiac telemetry.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services.
- Monitor and document patient progress using Epic EMR.
- Stay informed on best practices in Med Surg and telemetry care.
- Maintain open communication and manage patient ratios effectively.
Job Requirements:
- Current CA RN License and BSN degree.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in cardiac telemetry and MS/Tele.
- Certifications in AHA BLS and ACLS required.
- Experience with Epic EMR system.
- Preferred NIHSS certification and prior teaching hospital experience.
- Strong skills in communication and organization.
- Must have prior travel experience within the last 12 months.
