About the Opportunity:
This opportunity involves working as an Equipment Tech in New York, NY. The primary role focuses on maintaining a sanitary patient area, ensuring neat conditions, and performing routine tasks in accordance with established procedures. Interactions with patients, visitors, and employees require courtesy and promptness. Tasks include transporting supplies and equipment, maintaining equipment and supplies, and ensuring infection control protocol adherence. This is a full-time contract position.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $24.20 to $28.60 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine tasks to maintain assigned work area in a sanitary condition.
- Provide courteous assistance and respond promptly to inquiries.
- Transport and maintain supplies and equipment in an orderly manner.
- Receive deliveries and maintain a log of supply status for cleaning and equipment repair.
- Remove and clean instruments and equipment following risk management protocols.
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Ability to read, write, and follow simple directives.
- Prior Central Sterile experience preferred.
