About the Opportunity:
Join our healthcare team as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Med Surg Tele unit. This full-time contract position involves providing exceptional patient care, administering medications, and coordinating with interdisciplinary teams. Nurses in this role manage complex patient conditions, monitor vital signs, and deliver cardiac telemetry services. This opportunity emphasizes a commitment to high standards of care and patient advocacy.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $49.50 to $58.50 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting comprehensive patient assessments and creating individualized care plans.
- Providing cardiac telemetry monitoring and education.
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals such as physical therapists and pharmacists to coordinate care.
- Monitoring and documenting patient progress, including interpreting arterial blood gases and dysrhythmias.
- Staying informed on the latest research and practices in Med Surg Tele nursing.
Job Requirements:
- California RN License, BSN, AHA BLS, and ACLS certifications.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Cardiac Tele and MS/Tele settings.
- Familiarity with Epic EMR and previous charge experience preferred.
- Proficiency in specific skills such as blood product administration, heparin protocols, and telemetry.
- NIHSS certification preferred.
