About the Opportunity
We are partnered with a growing biopharmaceutical company that is looking for an experienced Account Manager to join their team in Los Angeles. The Account Manager is accountable for achieving territory sales goals by cultivating strong relationships with key healthcare stakeholders, including physicians, pharmacists, and institutional leaders. This individual drives product adoption by building clinical conviction, delivering targeted training, and providing ongoing customer support through the sales cycle. The role also involves developing strategic territory plans and partnering with sales leadership to effectively execute sales and marketing initiatives.
The annual base salary range is $115,000 to $155,000. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities
- Build and sustain strong business relationships with targeted physicians, healthcare providers, and key customers to effectively promote company products
- Drive sales growth within the assigned territory by influencing prescribing behaviors of target audiences
- Engage regularly with healthcare providers and organizations across the territory to expand product awareness and utilization
- Identify and cultivate relationships with key non-prescribing stakeholders (e.g., executives, nurse navigators, clinical staff, and office personnel) who influence decision-making within accounts.
- Develop a strong understanding of local market dynamics, including purchasing coalitions, Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs), and Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs)
- Provide comprehensive support to oncology and urology practices, as well as hospital systems, including contracting assistance, product training, technology support, and ongoing customer service
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in science, business or related field
- Uro-Oncology experience required
- Pharmaceutical/buy-and-bill sales experience preferred
