About the Opportunity
Our client is a prestigious financial services firm in New York City that looking to add a strategic and detail-oriented Communications Specialist to their team. This position is responsible for creating clear, engaging, and consistent messaging across internal and external channels to enhance the organization’s brand, reputation, and audience engagement. The ideal candidate is a skilled communicator with a talent for translating complex information into content that is impactful and easy to understand. They are currently operating on a hybrid schedule!
The annual base salary range is $110,000 to $160,000. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for developing and implementing effective communication strategies to enhance both internal and external communication efforts
- Write and edit clear, consistent communications across the firm
- Ensure messaging is polished, inclusive, and aligned with brand voice
- Manage timelines and logistics for communication projects with internal teams
- Maintain editorial calendar and propose employee engagement content
- Collaborate across departments on content creation and new initiatives
- Translate complex technical topics into accessible content for various audiences
- Support photo/video shoots, including scheduling and communications
- Handle time-sensitive requests with efficiency and professionalism
- Deliver high-quality technical content in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years of experience in communications
- CRM knowledge
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a creative mindset
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
