About the Opportunity
Our client is a mission-driven organization in Brooklyn that is committed to providing safe, supportive, and person-centered residential services to individuals in need. They are in search of a Director of Residential Services to join their team in passionately creating environments where residents can thrive with dignity, autonomy, and purpose. This roles will lead and oversee all aspects of their residential programs, which includes ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, fostering a culture of excellence in care and service delivery, and providing leadership to program managers and direct care staff. The ideal candidate will bring strategic vision, operational expertise, and a compassionate approach to managing residential programs.
The annual base salary range is $85,000 to $120,000. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and oversight of all residential services and housing programs
- Ensure programs comply with all applicable regulations, licensing standards, and best practices
- Supervise and support residential program managers and staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
- Develop and implement policies and procedures that ensure high-quality, person-centered services
- Monitor and analyze program performance metrics; implement improvements as needed
- Collaborate with clinical, administrative, and community partners to support resident well-being
- Develop and manage budgets for residential programs; ensure efficient and effective use of resources
- Respond to incidents and emergencies, ensuring timely and appropriate follow-up
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and accountable team culture
Job Requirements
- Master of Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, or related field required
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working with adolescents
- Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience
