About the Opportunity
Our client, a fast-growing private equity firm, is seeking a Senior Fund Accountant to join its small, collaborative finance team. This newly created role sits in Stamford, CT and directly supports the CFO and Controller. Once settled in, you’ll have the opportunity to get involved beyond fund accounting, in an entrepreneurial environment that values initiative and AI-driven process improvement.
The annual base salary range is $115,000 to $175,000. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities
- Oversee the fund administrator’s month-end and quarterly work, including cash reconciliations, trial balances, allocations, accruals, management fees, and capital activity
- Own the year-end financial statements and fund audit
- Manage capital calls, distributions, and waterfall calculations
- Subscription credit facility compliance, entity reporting, and regulatory filings such as Form ADV and Form PF
Job Requirements
- 3–8 years of PE fund accounting experience, ideally combining Big 4 and industry or fund administration
- Strong U.S. GAAP knowledge and an excellent academic record
- Bachelor’s degree
- A CPA is a plus
- Closed-end infrastructure fund experience, Luxembourg vehicles, and Investran are all a plus
