About the Opportunity
Our client is a boutique financial services firm in Middlesex County, NJ that is looking for a Financial Analyst to join their team. The role calls for a critical thinker who can handle forensic accounting and business valuations, analyze financial statements and public company filings, conduct company and industry research, and support various cases as assigned. The firm boasts an amazing quality of life, with great potential for growth if you put in the work. They are currently operating at a 40 hour work-week with a hybrid schedule – 50% of your time is in the office.
The annual base salary range is $80,000 to $110,000. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities
- Analyze corporate financial statements and tax returns
- Research and analyze executive compensation
- Industry and company research
- Monitor the discovery process and information received on various cases
- Analyze/review income per federal individual tax returns
- Analyze bank account activity, income and expenditures
- Analyze public companies including review of 10K’s, proxy statements and other filings
- Attend meetings and interviews with the Managing Directors, attorneys and others
Job Requirements
- 1-5 years experience in forensic accounting or public audit
- Bachelor’s Degree
- CPA preferred
- Excellent communication skills
