About the Opportunity
Our client is a fast-growing, PE-backed tech services company (~$400M revenue, 1,500 employees globally) and they are actively seeking a Global Controller to join their team. This high-impact role will oversee multi-entity close and consolidations, 13-week cash flow forecasting, financial reporting, and the integration of new acquisitions. The position also involves leading a Dynamics 365 ERP rollout and working closely with the CFO, board, and private equity sponsors. As the company continues its M&A-driven expansion in cybersecurity, cloud, and managed services, this is a unique opportunity to shape the finance function and drive growth. The role is hybrid (1–2 days/week in NYC or NJ), offers highly competitive compensation, meaningful equity, and a clear path for advancement.
The annual base salary range is $175,000 to $250,000. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities
- Oversee and contribute to key accounting functions across domestic and international operations, including financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow forecasting, multi-entity consolidations, and general ledger management
- Safeguard the accuracy and reliability of financial data used for both internal insights and external reporting, while playing an active role in the implementation of a new ERP system
- Lead the coordination and execution of annual audits, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP and applicable financial regulations in global jurisdictions
- Monitor and report on global cash positions, manage short-term cash forecasts (13-week), and provide monthly cash flow projections
- Help design, implement, and enforce global financial processes, systems, policies, and internal controls to support operational efficiency and compliance
- Evaluate and enhance the company’s internal reporting structure to ensure timely and accurate financial close and period-end reporting
- Review and strengthen internal controls across international operations, with a focus on high-impact business processes and intercompany transactions between global entities and U.S. headquarters
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- At least 8 years of progressive experience in accounting and financial management, ideally within a multinational organization
- Prior experience in a senior accounting role with direct leadership responsibilities, overseeing global operations, is essential
- CPA certification is strongly preferred
