About the Opportunity
Our client is a well-regarded, multi-strategy hedge fund in Manhattan looking to add an HR Manager to their team. The ideal candidate will be familiar with payroll, benefits, and compensation cycles. The firm has been steadily growing for the last many years, and boasts comprehensive benefits and a hybrid schedule.
The annual base salary range is $140,000 to $200,000. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage and conduct full-cycle onboarding, orientation, and offboarding.
- Benefits administration, will be running benefits in-house.
- Serve as the focal point for all payroll and benefits-related matters and inquiries.
- Work with the Head of HR to implement and assist with performance management and employee development reviews.
- Assist with selection process of the HRIS and payroll system.
- Handle employee relations.
- Assist with and oversee the day-to-day efficient operation of the HR policies and best practices and ensure compliance in different locations.
- Perform other HR Generalist duties as assigned and provide administrative support to the human resource function as/when needed
Job Requirements
- At least 7 years of HR experience
- Financial Services experience is a must
- Must be familiar with payroll and benefits
- Bachelor’s degree is required
