About the Opportunity
Our client is a prestigious law firm looking to hire an experienced and strategic HR Manager to join their office in Bergen County, NJ. The ideal candidate will support the full scope of Human Resources responsibilities and partner with the organization on strategic initiatives. They will maintain and enhance the organization’s human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating human resources policies, programs, and practices. They are currently operating on a hybrid schedule – 3 days a week on site, with 2 days of hybrid flexibility.
The annual base salary range is $100,000 to $125,000. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities
- Work closely with the CHRO on all day to day HR needs
- Review and develop benefit options including retirement / 401k, PTO, maternity/paternity leave plans, wellness and other rewards programs that are competitive, comprehensive, and well-utilized
- Manage the full life cycle recruitment process from candidate to end to end onboarding experience, creating seamless, scalable, and highly effective processes that ensure new employees feel welcomed, ramped and integrated into the business and team
- Develop policies that are compliant, practical, and are aligned with the culture and environment we want to create for our employees and to support the business
- Engage with employees on employee relations matters, cultural initiatives, and day to day process development and improvement to provide a work environment conducive to success.

Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience
- 5+ years’ experience in Human Resources
- Strong recruiting and demonstrated ability to improve talent acquisition strategies
- Demonstrated expertise training managers and employees
- Strong organizational, critical thinking and communications skills
- Attention to detail and good judgement
