A leading health organization specializing in the care of youth/adolescents is currently seeking LPNs and RNs to join them in their health centers and school-based programs. The pay range for this position is $28 to $43 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer. Job Responsibilities
- Participate in the application of the nursing process to an assigned group of patients
- Interact professionally, courteously, and appropriately with patients, visitors, and employees
- Perform both clinical and administrative functions
- Provide high quality patient care and direction for optimal operations
- Observe, report and document physical or safety status change to appropriate members
- Document all care in the electronic medical record
- Assists the Nurse Manager with the smooth flow of patients
- Periodically reviewing the volume and types of patients in the waiting area and report delays
- Promote and support the concept of teamwork by acting as a role model
- Maintain knowledge of new/current skills and trends through professional development activities
Job Requirements
- Fluent in English and Spanish
- Experience working with the youth/adolescent; ambulatory setting/school-based program
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing/licensed practical nursing
- NYS Registered Professional Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)
