About the Opportunity
We are working with a major sports conglomerate in New York City that is seeking a dynamic and experienced Marketing Project Manager to support ticket sales and marketing initiatives for two major events. This role will coordinate efforts across multiple entities to ensure seamless execution, drive revenue growth, and enhance fan engagement strategies. Employees are required to work onsite at least four days a week, with remote flexibility on Fridays and two additional flex days per month.
The base pay for this position is $45 to $60 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities
- Oversee the operational execution of new major event platforms, leading regular event meetings and developing key metrics and timelines
- Collaborate with partners to drive the growth and monetization of ticketing, premium hospitality, and event-day experiences
- Develop and communicate strategic initiatives to maximize fan engagement and revenue generation
- Prepare and present planning documents, reports, and success metrics to executive leadership and key stakeholders
- Organize and manage information, assets, and data, ensuring alignment between internal and external partners
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and industry partners to identify new opportunities and solutions
- Additional responsibilities as assigned
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- 8+ years of experience in sports marketing, event promotion, operations, and/or project management
- Flexibility to travel and work non-traditional hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Availability for match day travel from mid-June to mid-July 2025
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and visual design principles
- High emotional intelligence and ability to work across multiple time zones and cultures
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret research and past performance data
- Proven ability to negotiate, problem-solve, and work collaboratively
- Highly organized with exceptional project management skills and attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
Preferred Skills
- Fluency in English and Spanish (business proficiency; written and oral)
- Experience in sports marketing and event touring promotion
- Strong knowledge of soccer and the global soccer ecosystem
- Ability and willingness to travel frequently as needed
