OMH Program Director (LCSW Required)

About the Opportunity

Our client is seeking a highly qualified and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join their team as a OMH (Office of Mental Health) Program Director. The OMH Program Director will play a pivotal role in overseeing and leading their mental health programs, ensuring the delivery of high-quality and culturally competent services to the community.

The annual base salary range is $100,000 to $120,000. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic direction and leadership for the OMH program, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and mission
  • Develop and implement program policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance program effectiveness
  • Oversee day-to-day program operations, including staff management, budgeting, and resource allocation
  • Ensure compliance with OMH regulations, policies, and procedures
  • Monitor and evaluate program outcomes, making data-driven decisions to improve service delivery
  • Recruit, hire, train, and supervise program staff, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment
  • Provide ongoing support and professional development opportunities for staff members
  • Build and maintain collaborative relationships with community partners, stakeholders, and relevant agencies
  • Represent the organization in community forums and advocate for mental health services
  • Provide clinical supervision and guidance to program clinicians
  • Ensure the implementation of evidence-based practices and client-centered care
  • Conduct regular program evaluations and quality assurance assessments to uphold high standards of service delivery
  • Address and resolve any challenges or issues that may arise in the course of program operations
  • Maintain and ensure staff compliance with all relevant licensure requirements
  • Stay informed about changes in OMH regulations and advocate for necessary adjustments in program procedures

 

Job Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Social Work with LCSW licensure
  • A minimum of 3 years of leadership experience in mental health programs
  • Strong knowledge of OMH regulations, policies, and procedures
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
