About the Opportunity:
This full-time contract position for an Echo Technologist in cardiac imaging involves performing various modalities of cardiac ultrasound, including transthoracic echo, stress echo, and assisting in transesophageal echo. The technologist also conducts noninvasive testing, such as electrocardiograms and the application of Holter monitors. Responsibilities include preparing preliminary interpretation reports for echocardiograms, managing billing procedures, transmitting study results, and covering satellite sites.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $63.25 to $74.75 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting cardiac ultrasound procedures, including transthoracic and stress echocardiograms.
- Assisting in transesophageal echo examinations.
- Performing additional noninvasive tests like electrocardiograms and Holter monitor applications.
- Preparing preliminary interpretation reports for echocardiograms.
- Managing billing procedures and study transmittal.
- Providing coverage for satellite sites and participating in on-call duties.
Job Requirements:
- Certification as RDCS-PE with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in performing echocardiograms in a clinical setting.
- Preferred certifications include RDCS (PE), ARDMS, or CCI.
- Strong skills in cardiac imaging and diagnostic procedures.
