About the Opportunity:
The RN, Clinic contract position focuses on providing specialized oncology care to patients. This full-time role involves delivering comprehensive nursing care, coordinating treatment plans, and managing patient education in an outpatient setting.
The estimated base pay for this position is $52.25 to $61.75 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and create individualized oncology care plans.
- Provide chemotherapy administration, patient education, and support.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive care.
- Monitor and document patient responses to treatment and progress.
- Stay informed on oncology nursing best practices and research.
Job Requirements:
- Current CA RN License.
- AHA BLS certification.
- Minimum 5 years of RN experience with at least 3 years in oncology (Med/Surg Onc preferred).
- Ability to float to other UCSF facilities.
- BSN required.
- Preferred: OCN certification, telephone triage nursing experience, 2 years outpatient oncology experience.
