About the Opportunity:
Medical Assistants provide direct patient care services of a medical nature in a clinical setting. This is a full-time contract position.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $13.29 to $15.71 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) may be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care services in a clinical setting.
- Perform phlebotomy tasks and administer IM and Subcutaneous injections.
- Conduct and read accurate blood pressure tests.
- Interview patients and obtain complete medical histories.
- Distribute prescribed medications.
- Keep accurate medical records.
Job Requirements:
- Medical Assistant Certification.
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a medical assistant in a clinical setting.
- Experience in phlebotomy and administering IM and Subcutaneous injections.
- Proficiency in basic medical terminology and effective communication skills.
- Ability to speak and understand English.
