About the Opportunity:
The Medical Assistant provides crucial support in delivering patient care services within the urology department. This contract position requires working Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, with no evenings or weekends. Responsibilities include assisting healthcare professionals with patient care, performing administrative and clinical tasks, and ensuring a smooth workflow within the medical office.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $26.95 to $31.85 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting basic patient assessments and assisting with creating care plans.
- Providing patient education and support as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Collaborating with nurses and physicians to coordinate patient care.
- Monitoring and documenting patient progress and medical records.
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- BLS certification.
- Completion of a formal Medical Assistant training program.
- Medical Assistant Certification (AAMA-CMA, AMT-RMA) preferred.
- One or more years of experience as a Medical Assistant preferred.
