About the Opportunity:
A position as a Retina Surgeon is available focusing on the diagnosis, treatment, and surgical management of retinal diseases. This full-time contract position offers a collaborative environment with dedicated retina-specific resources. The practice operates within an established retina-only setup with a busy schedule and a significant referral base.
The estimated base pay for these positions is $2351.25 to $2778.75 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting diagnosis and treatment of retinal diseases.
- Performing vitreoretinal surgical procedures in an ASC setting.
- Collaborating with a team of support staff, including nurses and technicians.
- Monitoring and documenting patient progress using ModMed EHR systems.
- Participating in clinic calls shared among providers with no hospital call requirements.
Job Requirements:
- Board Certification as a Retina Surgeon.
- NV license or eligibility through IMLC.
- DEA certification.
- Fellowship training in retinal surgery.
- Proven ability to independently manage and perform vitreoretinal procedures.
