About the Opportunity:
Join our healthcare team as a Registered Nurse in the Acute Med Surg Acute Care unit. This full-time contract position involves providing high-quality care to adult and geriatric patients in a step-down setting. As an RN, you manage a 6:1 patient ratio and work 12-hour night shifts from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $48.08 to $56.82 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting patient assessments and creating individualized care plans.
- Providing medication administration and monitoring.
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Monitoring and documenting patient progress using the Paragon EMR system.
- Staying informed on the latest research in step-down and telemedicine practices.
Job Requirements:
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
- 1-2 years of experience in step-down or telemedicine settings.
- Proficiency with the Paragon EMR and Pxyis systems.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
