About the Opportunity:
This opportunity is for a Registered Nurse (RN) position in the Acute Med Surg Acute Care unit. The role involves providing nursing care to adult and geriatric patients on a step-down unit. This is a full-time contract position.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $48.59 to $57.43 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting patient assessments and creating care plans.
- Providing appropriate nursing interventions and education.
- Collaborating with physicians and healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
- Monitoring and documenting patient progress.
- Staying informed on best practices in acute care nursing.
Job Requirements:
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
- 1-2 years of experience in a step-down or telemetry setting.
- Experience with the Paragon and Pxyis EMR systems is preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
