About the Opportunity:
The Registered Nurse for Endoscopy provides specialized care to patients undergoing gastrointestinal procedures. Responsibilities include assisting physicians during endoscopic procedures, administering conscious sedation, and ensuring patient safety and comfort. The position requires expertise in cardiac monitoring and identification of dysrhythmias. This is a full-time contract position with shifts available from 08:00-16:30, Monday to Friday.
The estimated base pay for these positions is $52.25 to $61.75 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting patient assessments and creating care plans for endoscopic procedures.
- Providing conscious sedation and monitoring patient responses.
- Collaborating with physicians and healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
- Monitoring and documenting patient progress during and after procedures.
- Staying informed on best practices in endoscopy care and conscious sedation.
Job Requirements:
- BSN with active BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in endoscopy or related settings.
- Travel experience required.
- Proficient in Epic charting system.
- Key skills include administering conscious sedation and airway management.
