About the Opportunity:
This full-time contract position in San Francisco, CA involves providing endoscopy nursing care to patients. The RN in this role performs pre- and post-procedure care, collaborates with the interdisciplinary team, and administers conscious sedation for procedures. The candidate must be capable of floating to other facilities as needed.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $55.00 to $65.00 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and create care plans for endoscopy patients.
- Provide conscious sedation and airway management during procedures.
- Collaborate with respiratory and pharmacy services to ensure patient safety.
- Monitor and document patient progress, especially in outpatient and inpatient settings.
- Stay informed on best practices for using endoscopic tools and techniques.
Job Requirements:
- CA RN License and BSN required.
- AHA BLS and ACLS certifications mandatory.
- Minimum 2 years of experience, with at least 1 year in an outpatient endoscopy center.
- Experience with Trauma Level I or II preferred.
- Proficiency in Epic charting system required.
- Skills in administering sedation, patient assessment, and emergency management necessary.
