About the Opportunity:
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for the Electrophysiology (EP) Lab in Paramus, NJ. This full-time contract position involves delivering specialized care to patients within the EP lab setting, including performing arrhythmia inductions, cardiac ablations, and pacemaker insertions. The RN collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuously monitors patient progress. Variable shift times within Monday to Friday are available, and there is no requirement to work weekends or hospital holidays.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $63.25 to $74.75 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting electrophysiology studies and creating comprehensive care plans.
- Providing education and support for cardiac therapy and device management.
- Collaborating with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Monitoring and documenting patient responses and outcomes meticulously.
- Staying informed on advancements in electrophysiology and related therapies.
Job Requirements:
- Current NJ or Compact RN License required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in an EP Lab setting.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong skills in arrhythmia induction, cardiac mapping, and conduction studies.
- Ability to pass a Basic Arrhythmia Exam with 80% or higher.
