About the Opportunity:
Explore a rewarding role as a Registered Nurse in the Electrophysiology (EP) Lab, providing specialized cardiac care and support to patients. Engage in responsibilities that involve conducting arrhythmia inductions, cardiac ablations, and various cardiac procedures. This part-time contract position offers flexible start times, working 5×8 hours or 4×10 hours between 6:30 am and 6:30 pm, Monday to Friday, with no weekend or hospital holiday rotations.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $63.25 to $74.75 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct specific assessments and create care plans for EP Lab procedures.
- Provide professional nursing care and execute specific types of cardiac therapy.
- Collaborate with cardiologists and healthcare professionals to coordinate and optimize patient care.
- Monitor and document patient progress and responses to specialized interventions.
- Stay informed on current EP Lab practices and cardiac research developments.
Job Requirements:
- Possess a valid NJ or Compact RN License.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in an EP Lab setting.
- BLS certification required.
- Proficiency in arrhythmia induction, cardiac mapping, and pacemaker insertion.
- Strong skills in communication and organization.
