About the Opportunity:
This full-time contract position provides essential nursing care to patients as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). Duties include assisting patients with daily living activities, administering medications, and monitoring health conditions. The role involves maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring a high standard of care.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $36.05 to $42.61 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting comprehensive health assessments and developing individualized care plans.
- Providing patient education and specific nursing interventions.
- Collaborating with registered nurses and physicians to coordinate patient care.
- Monitoring and documenting patient progress and health status.
- Staying informed on current nursing practices and updates in patient care protocols.
Job Requirements:
- Valid LPN license in the state of Maine.
- Minimum of one year of experience in a clinical or hospital setting.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Basic life support (BLS) certification.
