About the Opportunity:
The Pharmacist Inpatient position provides comprehensive pharmaceutical care to patients, including medication dispensing and monitoring, providing safe, effective, and appropriate medication therapy. This full-time contract position includes responsibilities for ensuring quality pharmacy services in accordance with established procedures and guidelines. The team member collaborates with healthcare professionals to enhance patient outcomes and streamline care processes.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $60.50 to $71.50 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) are finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct medication and chart reviews to create and implement care plans.
- Provide clinical pharmacokinetic services and perform therapeutic drug monitoring.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal treatment pathways.
- Monitor and document patient progress and medication effectiveness.
- Stay informed on recent pharmacy research and inpatient care practices.
Job Requirements:
- PharmD required.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent inpatient experience.
- Required charting experience with EPIC.
- Preferred certification includes BCPS and Phlebotomy.
- Skills in cardiac dosing, geriatric dosing, and anticoagulation therapy.
- Licensure in North Carolina is required.
- Flu vaccines are required without exemptions.
