About the Opportunity
Our client is a longstanding financial service firm looking to add a Generalist to their Human Resources team. This team plays a meaningful role in ensuring our HR department runs efficiently, our candidates, new hires and employees have a great experience, and the overall administration of people data is of the highest quality standards. This hybrid role sits on-site for 3-4 days in the office with 1-2 days working from home per week.
The annual base salary range is $70,000 to $140,000. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day operational support to the HR team
- Manage employee files
- Handle the onboarding and offboarding process
- Run reports as needed
- Help develop and implement best practices
- Performs recruitment activities
- Assists in Policies and Procedures
- Performs benefits administration
- Checks all payroll changes for accuracy
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- 2-8 years of Human Resources experience
- Exceptional communication skills, both in verbal and written
- Able to prioritize your tasks in an ever-changing, dynamic environment where no day is like the previous
- Must have some payroll experience
- Must have experience with PivotTables and/or VLOOKUPS
