About the Opportunity
Our client, a well-regarded FinTech firm based in Manhattan, is seeking an experienced and relationship-driven Immigration and Global Mobility Manager to join their high-impact HR team. This individual will play a critical role in supporting senior business leaders in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment, delivering strategic and hands-on global mobility solutions that drive organizational effectiveness and talent outcomes.
The Immigration and Global Mobility Manager will serve as a trusted advisor to leadership, fostering strong partnerships across the organization, delivering data-driven people strategies, and advancing the firm’s global talent agenda. Responsibilities include managing global immigration and cross-border mobility matters across multiple jurisdictions, evaluating visa pathways for new hires and transfers, coordinating casework with outside counsel, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The manager will oversee audit readiness and documentation standards, educate teams on compliance practices, manage international relocations – including assignment letters, tax considerations, payroll, and benefits alignment -and identify opportunities to streamline workflows through systems and data insights. This position follows a hybrid schedule.
The annual base salary range is $150,000 to $250,000. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities
- Serve as primary internal resource for employment authorization and cross-border mobility matters across multiple countries.
- Evaluate visa pathways for new hires and employee transfers; guide stakeholders on timing, risk, and eligibility
- Coordinate casework with outside counsel to ensure accurate and timely filings
- Maintain audit readiness, oversee documentation standards, and educate teams on compliance practices
- Manage international relocations, including assignment letters, tax coordination, and alignment with payroll and benefits
- Track trends and identify opportunities to streamline workflows through systems and data insights
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 10+ years of immigration and global mobility experience, including ownership of multi-country programs
- Professional services experience is required, financial services/FinTech/Tech experience is a plus
- Strong understanding of U.S. and international work authorization frameworks and regulatory requirements
- Highly organized with the ability to manage competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment
- Clear communicator with sound judgment and strong cross-functional collaboration skills
- Comfortable leveraging technology and improving processes to increase operational efficiency
