About the Opportunity:
Join our team as a Dental Assistant, playing a key role in enhancing efficiency and quality of care by performing advanced clinical duties under the supervision of our dentists. The estimated base pay for these positions are $30.25 to $35.75 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Place and finish dental restorations (fillings) after the dentist prepares the tooth.
- Take accurate impressions for temporary crowns, bridges, and diagnostic models.
- Fabricate and place temporary crowns and bridges.
- Perform coronal polishing and fluoride treatments.
- Apply sealants and desensitizing agents as directed.
- Assist the dentist during procedures, including restorative, prosthodontic, and endodontic treatments.
- Take and process radiographs.
- Maintain proper infection control and sterilization standards.
- Provide clear post-treatment instructions to patients.
- Chart treatment notes accurately and assist with updating patient records.
- Monitor inventory and prepare trays for procedures.
- Support front office team with patient flow and case coordination when needed.
Job Requirements:
- EFDA Certification (Required in applicable state).
- X-Ray Certification.
- CPR Certification.
- One (1) – two (2) years of dental assisting experience required.
- Strong knowledge of restorative procedures and materials.
- Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
