About the Opportunity:
Registered Nurses in the Emergency Room at a leading medical center in Santa Monica provide high-quality care for trauma and adult emergency patients. This full-time contract position involves night shifts from 19:00 to 07:30, various days of the week, with potential for some mid/day shifts as required.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $45.65 to $53.95 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and create individualized care plans for emergency department patients.
- Provide emergency medical interventions, including IV start, ventilation, and medication administration.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physical therapy and social services, to coordinate patient care.
- Monitor and document patient progress using the Epic charting system.
- Stay informed on emergency medical treatment best practices and protocols.
Job Requirements:
- BSN degree and active CA RN License.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Trauma and Adult Emergency Department.
- Certification requirements: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, CPI.
- Experience with managing dysrhythmias, IV medications, trauma care, and respiratory emergencies.
