About the Opportunity:
This is an opportunity to work in a fast-paced Adult Emergency Department (ED) in a state-of-the-art facility that manages over 100,000 visits annually. It is one of the busiest trauma centers in the country and the only Level I trauma hospital in the area. The role involves treating a diverse patient population and assisting with boarder patients. This is a full-time contract position.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $52.80 to $62.40 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and create care plans for patients in the emergency department.
- Provide emergency care and therapy as required, following established protocols.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care.
- Monitor and document patient progress accurately and promptly.
- Stay informed on the latest practices and developments in emergency nursing.
Job Requirements:
- RN License (NY License ONLY).
- Two (2) Years of ED experience.
- Previous travel ER experience required.
- Telemetry experience required.
- BLS and ACLS (American Heart Association ONLY).
- NIHSS certification preferred.
