About the Opportunity:
We are hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) for full-time inpatient roles across a large, reputable hospital system serving Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens, Cortlandt Manor, and Westchester County! These are stable, acute care hospital-based positions offering consistent hours, competitive pay, and opportunities to work across a variety of inpatient units.
The estimated base pay for this position is $30 to $35 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Available Shifts:
- Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Evening Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
- Night Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, toileting, and meals
- Take and document vital signs including temperature, pulse, respirations, blood pressure, and oxygen saturation
- Support safe mobility, turning, repositioning, and patient transfers
- Provide comfort, emotional support, and continuous observation as assigned
- Assist RNs with patient care tasks and documentation
- Maintain clean, safe patient rooms and unit areas
- Observe and promptly report changes in patient condition
- Follow hospital protocols, HIPAA guidelines, and infection control procedures
Job Requirements:
- Active NYS Certified Nursing Assistant credential from an approved Nurse Aide training program
- Minimum 1 year of inpatient hospital experience required
- High school diploma or GED
- Current CPR certification through the American Heart Association
