About the Opportunity:
The role provides specialized care to patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at the facility. Responsibilities include managing patients with complex medical conditions, such as strokes, sepsis, respiratory failure, and post-surgical recovery. This is a full-time contract position.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $51.43 to $60.78 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) are finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting thorough assessments and creating individualized care plans for ICU patients.
- Providing advanced therapy and critical care interventions as necessary.
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
- Monitoring and documenting patient progress, adapting treatment plans as needed.
- Staying informed on current research and best practices in critical care nursing.
Job Requirements:
- Registered Nurse with an active New York License.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in ICU, SICU, CTICU, Trauma ICU, MS ICU, or Neuro ICU.
- Current AHA ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications.
- Proficiency in EMR systems, specifically EPIC.
- Experience with CRRT and Prismaflex required; heart experience highly preferred.
- Travel experience and 2 recent ICU Charge/Manager RN references necessary.
- Skills checklist matching specialty and valid driver’s license with matching demographics required.
