About the Opportunity:
This role involves providing preoperative care to patients in a PreOp setting. It is a full-time contract position. The responsibilities include preparing and assessing patients for surgeries, offering necessary education, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and safety during their operative experience.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $45.65 to $53.95 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting pre-admission testing and creating care plans.
- Providing pre-op education and assessment.
- Collaborating with surgical team, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Monitoring and documenting patient progress and vital signs.
- Staying informed on preoperative care techniques and safety protocols.
Job Requirements:
- CA RN License.
- AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications.
- 2 years of experience in preadmission testing or prepare clinic.
- Ability to float to other facilities as needed.
- Experience with Epic charting system.
- BSN degree required.
- Prior travel within the last 12 months preferred.
- COVID-19 vaccination and booster required.
