About the Opportunity:
We are seeking a Registered Nurse for a full-time contract position in the Operating Room. The role involves providing specialized surgical care, focusing mainly on orthopedic procedures, while circulating and scrubbing particularly in Ortho-Joints, Orthopedics, ENT, and Ophthalmology. The ideal candidate demonstrates proficiency in airway management and aseptic techniques and is experienced in general surgery, endoscopy, gynecology, plastics, and podiatry. Collaboration with an interdisciplinary team ensures the highest quality of patient care.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $56.65 to $66.95 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting comprehensive preoperative and postoperative assessments.
- Providing intraoperative patient care while ensuring sterile field maintenance.
- Collaborating with surgeons and anesthesiologists to optimize surgical outcomes.
- Monitoring and documenting patient progress and surgical outcomes.
- Staying informed on current surgical practices and protocols.
Job Requirements:
- Current CA RN license.
- Minimum of 3 years of OR experience, with strong ortho and scrubbing expertise.
- Experience with airway management and aseptic techniques.
- Certified in AHA BLS and ACLS.
- Experience in circulating and scrubbing for Ortho-Joints, Ortho, ENT, and Ophthalmology procedures.
