About the Opportunity:
This position involves providing care to adult patients in a cardiology setting. As a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), you conduct patient assessments, support physicians in clinical tasks, and ensure efficient clinic operations through patient coordination and communication. This is a full-time contract position.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $24.75 to $29.25 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting patient assessments and preparing patients for examination.
- Administering necessary treatments and ensuring accurate documentation.
- Collaborating with physicians and healthcare professionals in coordinating care.
- Monitoring patient progress and communicating updates to the care team.
- Developing familiarity with new cardiology treatments and best practices.
Job Requirements:
- Certification from one of the following: AAMA, AMT, NHA-CCMA, NCMA, or ARMA.
- BLS certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in an adult outpatient clinic.
- Experience in cardiology and general/family practice preferred.
- Effective communication and organizational skills.
