About the Opportunity:
We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse specializing in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) care in Utica, NY. In this role, you provide exceptional care to adult patients, managing common diagnoses such as CAD, AS, and MR. This is a full-time contract position where you collaborate with a dedicated team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
The estimated base pay for these positions is $53.99 to $63.81 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from the posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting thorough patient assessments and creating individualized care plans.
- Providing specialized cardiovascular operating room care and education.
- Collaborating with surgeons and healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Monitoring and documenting patient progress during surgeries.
- Staying informed on the latest cardiovascular surgical techniques and practices.
Job Requirements:
- Current New York State licensure as a Registered Nurse.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program with an associate's degree.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in cardiovascular operating room settings.
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS.
- Proficiency with EPIC and Omnicell technology.
