About the Opportunity:
The Echo Technologist position involves conducting diagnostic echocardiograms to provide high-quality imaging and interpretation of cardiac structures and function. This part-time contract role focuses on delivering exceptional patient care and collaborating with medical professionals to ensure the best outcomes for patients.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $52.25 to $61.75 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from the posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting diagnostic cardiac ultrasound assessments and creating care plans.
- Providing information and education to patients about procedures.
- Collaborating with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
- Monitoring and documenting patient progress and maintaining accurate records.
- Staying informed on current research in echocardiography and diagnostic imaging practices.
Job Requirements:
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certification with a specialty in Vascular Technology (RVT) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a hospital setting.
- Required experience with GE ultrasound equipment and EPIC charting system.
- Skills in conducting advanced Doppler studies and peripheral vascular imaging techniques.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Travel experience required.
