About the Opportunity:
The opportunity as an RN at the Ambulatory Surgery Center focuses on outpatient surgery services. This involves scrubbing and circulating cases such as General, ENT, Plastics, Orthopedics (spine, sports medicine, hand/podiatry), Urology, and GYN, with a focus on Breast oncology. This is a full-time contract position with shifts composed of 4x 10-hour days from 06:45 to 17:15.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $49.50 to $58.50 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting assessments and creating care plans for outpatient surgeries.
- Providing scrubbing and circulating for various surgical cases including General, ENT, Plastics, Orthopedics, Urology, and GYN.
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
- Monitoring and documenting patient progress throughout surgical procedures.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in scrubbing and circulating surgical cases.
- BLS certification required; CNOR preferred.
- State nursing license required.
- Experience with Epic charting system preferred.
