About the Opportunity:
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Orono, ME, provides comprehensive nursing care to patients in a facility setting. This full-time contract position involves administering medications, monitoring patient health, and collaborating with RNs for optimal patient outcomes.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $38.01 to $44.92 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and injections as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient health and vital signs regularly.
- Collaborate with registered nurses and other healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans.
- Document patient care and report changes in patient condition effectively.
- Stay informed on the latest nursing practices and standards.
Job Requirements:
- Valid LPN license in the state of Maine.
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a healthcare setting.
