About the Opportunity:
This is a part-time contract position for a Registered Nurse at a specialized Alzheimer's/Dementia care center. The role requires care provision within a secured care setting, managing units with an average of 28-36 patients primarily in long-term care. This position operates during evening shifts (2p-10:30p) on a 4 on, 2 off rotation.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $33.28 to $39.33 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and create care plans for patients with Alzheimer's/Dementia.
- Provide necessary medical care and emotional support to patients.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care.
- Monitor and document patient progress and treatment outcomes.
- Stay informed on the latest practices in dementia care.
Job Requirements:
- Current RN license.
- Minimum experience in geriatrics or dementia care settings preferred.
