About the Opportunity:
Join our team as a Medical Assistant in the Adolescent GYN Department, located in an outpatient clinic. This full-time contract position involves providing essential care to adolescent patients by assisting in clinical duties, supporting healthcare professionals, and ensuring a smooth operational flow within the clinic.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $30.25 to $35.75 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting patient assessments and recording medical history.
- Providing assistance during medical procedures and examinations.
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated care.
- Monitoring and documenting patient progress accurately.
- Staying informed on adolescent healthcare practices.
Job Requirements:
- Graduate of an approved school for Medical Assistants with documentation to show.
- Current CPR certification.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a medical setting.
- Registries required: CMA, CMAC, MAC, RMA, CMAS, NRCMA, NCMA, CCMA.
- Previous pediatric experience preferred.
