About the Opportunity:
As a Registered Nurse in Endoscopy, you provide skilled nursing care to patients undergoing endoscopic procedures. You assist in pre and post-operative care, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process. This is a full-time contract position with emphasis on collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional care to adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $55.00 to $65.00 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and create care plans for endoscopy patients.
- Provide conscious sedation and monitor sedation during procedures.
- Collaborate with respiratory services, pharmacy, and other support services to coordinate care.
- Monitor and document patient progress and recovery post-procedure.
Job Requirements:
- Current CA RN License.
- AHA BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, with more than 1 year in an outpatient endoscopy center.
- Experience in pre/post procedure care and inpatient settings.
- Proficiency with Epic charting system.
