About the Opportunity:
The Supply Chain Equipment Tech role involves processing and distributing supplies and equipment to various hospital departments. This full-time contract position requires handling incoming shipments, maintaining supply levels, restocking and rotating supplies, and assisting with inventory processes. Additional duties include decontaminating reusable medical supplies and equipment and performing general housekeeping duties in assigned areas.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $11.30 to $13.35 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Process and distribute supplies and equipment to various hospital departments.
- Receive materials, equipment, and supplies delivered to the receiving area.
- Inspect bills of lading and visually inspect incoming shipments.
- Maintain supply and equipment par levels.
- Restock and rotate supplies.
- Decontaminate reusable medical supplies and equipment.
- Assist with inventory processes and cycle counts.
- Process and deliver special requests.
- Perform general housekeeping duties in assigned areas.
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of six (6) months of experience in supply chain, warehouse operations, inventory management, shipping/receiving, materials management, stocking, or a related distribution environment required.
- Ability to read and write English.
- Ability to work rotating weekends and holidays.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment.
