About the Opportunity:
The MRI Technologist provides high-quality diagnostic imaging services to patients in a full-time contract position. Responsibilities include operating MRI machines efficiently, ensuring patient comfort during procedures, and coordinating with physicians for timely results. Must orient with a full 40-hour workweek for the first two weeks before transitioning to regular weekend shifts.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $55.00 to $65.00 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain a clean and safe scanning environment.
- Coordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging.
- Prepare patients for scans and explain procedures to ensure comfort.
- Document procedures while maintaining patient confidentiality.
- Perform patient care tasks as needed.
Job Requirements:
- Associate degree in magnetic resonance imaging or radiology.
- Minimum two years of experience in MRI technology.
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
- Experience with GE or Siemens MRI scanners.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and ability to stand for extended periods.
- Certification through the ARRT or a similar organization (preferred).
